Baltimore Roof Replacement Frequently Asked Questions:

Baltimore Roof Replacement

Do I have to be home for the estimate?
No. The estimator will not need to go inside your house so it’s not necessary for you to be home at that time. We only need to be able to set up a ladder to reach the roof.

What form of payments do you accept?
Cash, Check and Visa and Mastercard charge cards.

Can I make monthly payments?
Yes, but payment plans must be arranged in advance.

How soon can you start?
Except for emergency repairs, jobs are scheduled in the order that the contracts are signed; and depending on the weather. Your house could be scheduled as quickly as two days or as long as two months depending on our backlog of projects at the time. Starting dates on all jobs are based on weather conditions.

If I don’t like the color of my roof, can I change it?
Of course. You can visit the GAFCertainteed and Tamko websites to see the color options for asphalt shingles available from these manufacturers. We can also have an estimator bring samples out to your home.

Do you carry insurance?
Roofing Unlimited, Inc. is fully licensed, bonded and insured Baltimore roof replacement company in the state of Maryland. We carry workmen’s compensation on all our employees as well as Comprehensive liability insurance.

What type of warranty do I get?
New roof are warranteed from 3 -10 years depending on the type of roofing system installed. Plus, you’ll receive the full manufacturer’s warranty which can vary from 20-50 years depending on the product you select. We suggest you take time to visit these manufacturer’s websites — GAFCertainteed and Tamko — to learn more about their warranty options.

Do I have to be home when the work is done?
No, in fact it’s often better if you’re not going to be home as it can get quite noisy inside most houses when the roof is being installed. Also, every effort will be made to protect your landscaping and property during the installation process. After the job is complete, debris from the tear-off is removed and a magnet is run over the lawn to recover any dropped nails and metal.
